totalitarianism

Why now?

The world economy is collapsing. But why would the vice wielders, those that pull the strings of governments, the media & big corporations, want to destroy what they’ve spent decades, even hundreds of years creating?

And why now? The last two and half years have seen a rapid acceleration in the sheer force of what the cathedral are willing to push. Is there a reason why governments are going full totalitarian in the 20s.?

Will you tolerate totalitarianism next time?

You might agree with all the steps the government has taken in the last year. But what will you do the next time they give themselves this power over your life?

Pandora’s box has been opened. They will use these powers again against us. So how you will judge the next time? What will your criteria be?

What are the conditions that must arise for you to believe totalitarianism is OK?

We discuss whether seemingly rational people have really thought through the consequences of their blind subservience in the last year and what might be done to break the cycle of authoritarianism that is bound to follow.

And have you heard of a larger than life, 18th century merchant by the name of Timothy Dexter? We’re sure you’ll find the story of this buccaneering trader both amusing and fascinating.
