Bodily Autonomy, Bugs, Birth Rates, Bicyclism and Blax Cuts

Today’s episode is brought to you by the letter “B”. Not intentionally, but a few topics started with it and we managed to crowbar a few more in.

We start off with the repeal of Roe v Wade and ask why pro choice libertarians don’t seem to think moving decisions closer to the people they affact is a good idea. Andrew has an idea to kill two birds with one stone: shutting the left up about reparations whilst proving how good tax cuts can be.

Unfortunatel, we couldn’t not talk about the plumeting birth rates all over Europe and talk a little about just how statistically improbable the rate of change is, showing just how serious a position society is in.

While we’re in a dark place, we discuss eating bugs. A topic that never seems to go away. Nic completely refuses to even entertain the idea although Andrew toys with the idea of eating a bug burger, if it’s delicious enough.

Finally, Andrew gets a few things off his chest with regards to cyclists…

Dark

We questioned whether or not to even release this edition of Sounding Board. Recorded on 10 May 2022, it’s one of our longest recordings – but its dark.

It’s Andrew’s turn to be feeling a bit low on humanity. From the destruction of food processing plants to Bill Gates’ new book, the Pfizer document drops to depopulation, we discuss all the negatives facing the world.

Can we find something positive in all the mess? Maybe when we discuss inflation, CBDCs and crypto currencies.

And can Iron Maiden pull Andrew out of his bad mood?

Thinking Things Through

Sometimes people just don’t think things through.  They don’t think about the ramifications or simple interpretations of what they are spreading around.

Andrew has some observations of examples of precisely these viral memes and trends that were truly wide of the mark, but not maybe in the way you originally thought.

Does it change your perception?

Nic then talks about how his children seem to be following his lead when it comes to understanding the role of the police and central banks, and how a simple childrens story about “happytown” has a great message about tyranny.

And what about diet?  It’s not just propaganda that you need to protect your children from, it’s seed oils as well.

Finally, Andrew revisits some important statistics about the number of people who have never been jabbed.  There really are more than you realise.

Would everybody just shut up about Yemen

Isn’t it funny how suddenly everyone is concerned with a foreign power bombing and invading a neighbour thousands of miles away, yet that is exactly what has been happening for nearly 8 years, but in a different part of the world.

The media and the politicians tell you you must focus on Ukraine now, and with simple binary options for who is good and who is bad. But why no focus on Yemen? And is it as simple as one side = good, the other = bad?

We discuss the horrific situation in Yemen, and give some of its complex history, and compare it to the situation in Ukraine, and its history of being a puppet state dominated by its neighbours too.

Of course it could all be a distraction. What exactly has come out in Covidland while everyone has been focused on Ukraine? Is it merely a cover for bad news from the vaccines?

Trucker Spring and the Narrative Unravelling

With Castreau invoking the never before used Emergencies Act, our eyes are on Canada once more and the Trucker Spring.

We compare this movement to the BLM protests (with associated riots and occupations – CHAZ anyone?) and the freedom marches. Just how violent is it?

But all the while the covid narrative keeps crumbling, across the world and even in other parts of Canada, regardless of the Ottawa crackdown.

Restrictions are ending in the UK…again. How long before the Daily Mail are declaring the third Freedom Day?

And is it time to start thinking about our own energy independence now that the net zero crazies are causing havoc to the markets?

Allegedly…

The Trucker Spring in Canada has put more focus on Justin Trudeau, as he pushes more and more draconian measures to try and stop it.

As a result, the photos and stories about his origins are flooding social media again.

Is it true? Well, as Andrew discusses whether or not he believes this particular conspiracy, Nic has already prepared a list of other classics, from the moon landing to JFK.

Did Andrew see a UFO 25 years ago, and who is Prince Harry’s father?

What Does The Future Hold?

After a brief chat about the return to some old social media platforms, following on from our last podcast, Andrew makes a few predictions about what may happen in the future. Speculations around how people may behave, what they may say and how the narrative may change. Time will tell whether these are more accurate than Andrew’s last prediction that “Masks will be gone in six months”…

In the middle of this, as regular listeners will know, we’ll normally fetch a scotch or two. But this time, Nic brings out a local gin that we both try and muse as to how it may taste with various mixers, before discussing several different types of martini.

Andrew then recaps on some of the utterly ridiculous headlines and newspaper articles warning us of all the things that may cause heart attacks, except for the obvious one of course.

We finish up by talking about the Truckers in Canada and how they’re a proper “people power” movement.

The Future Of Social Media

In this episode we talk about Social Media.

Nic starts by letting Andrew know that one of his recent tweets about Ivermectin has been marked by Twitter as ‘misinformation’, in spite of all the evidence to support his claim. We wonder whether Spotify will start adding a warning to these podcasts, after their recent new protocol.

We then talk about different social media platforms and how they’re evolving with the times.

Will there ever be one platform to rule them all? Or will the left and everybody else always have to separate?

Avoiding Healthcare Like The Plague

In this edition we discuss staying out of healthcare’s way by looking after our own fitness.

Whether its workouts or eating well, it can all play a part in avoiding the doctors.

Nic has been trying Chaga mushroom tea, and talks of the surprising benefits to his workout recovery.

We talk more about how things might look as the covid narrative starts to crumble, and what peoples reactions are going to be when they realise they have been had.
